What is the legal status of Hârn or HârnMaster? Who holds the rights?

At this time, the estate of N. Robin Crossby — the original creator of Hârn and HârnMaster — is the sole legal holder of copyright and other intellectual property for all works related to Hârn and HârnMaster. The family and estate of N. Robin Crossby have established Kelestia Productions Ltd, a company incorporated in British Columbia, Canada, to manage the development and publication of works based on the vision and ideas of N. Robin Crossby.

Accordingly, Kelestia Productions Ltd is currently the only body that is legally able to publish any such material (commercial or non-commerical) and that can give other individuals or groups the permission to do so.

Before the launch of Keléstia Productions, a different company published Hârn material. That company in fact continues to sell Hârn products, even though they do not have the legal right to do so and despite repeated legal advice to cease and desist. That company lost its rights in regard to Hârn and HârnMaster as of January 9th 2004.
