Jutting into the Gap of Lankor from the east is a range of high hillss called the Melwy, an offshoot of the Tonatris Mountains. They have never been settled by man and only a few hunters and fur trappers now visit there, whilst timbermen and miners shun the area. The cause of this is that the hills are already claimed by a non-human (or partially human) race, the centaurs.

Scholars regard centaurs as wholly mythical and discount tales of their existence. It is true that the race is rare, but centaurs are nevertheless found in many forests across temperate Lythia. The centaurs of the Melwy interact regularly with cousins in the forests of Quarphor. [Read more...]

This story provides some background to the deeper forces at play within the mysterious Kingdom of Emélrenè, which is one of the most ancient realms of Venârivè: Northwestern Lýthia.

We are pleased to announce a free update to our popular Hârn Regional Interactive Map.

Based on feedback from customers, we have added three new layers to the multi-layer PDF map:

• an 'outline' layer, showing the coastlines and lake-shores of Hârn.
• a 'greyscale' layer, which provides a grey background for the land of Hârn and its islands.
• a 'sea and rivers' base layer, which provides a simple background showing seas and rivers only.

These three layers allow users to view and print out the Hârn map with a greater number of combinations.

Also based on customer feedback, we have separated the gârgún and human 'tribal' ranges, so that these can be selected individually.

We have also included a slightly updated Index to the map, including a list of all the layers.

We hope our customers will enjoy these new features.
