Welcome to the official online home of the fantasy world of Hârn and of the HârnMaster role-playing rules system! This is the only web presence authorised by the creator, N. Robin Crossby.

It's taken longer than we had estimated or plannend -- but the new kelestia.com Webshop is now finally online. Accordingly, all official World of Hârn and HârnMaster modules are available for purchase again. Please have a look around.

Why a new online shop? -- Several reasons; the most important two are: The new shop is much more user-friendly and it supports tangible products -- that's right, actual printed, physical products. Smiling

To give you an idea why this latter function is important to us, I have attached a little "appetiser" to this story. It's a preview sheet for an exciting new release.

Some of you mentioned they would much prefer a Saturday time slot for our regular HârnChat online meeting.

We have decided to give it a try for the next couple of weeks, starting this Saturday, August 30th. If it's going alright, we might even change the time slot permanently.

What will remain the same is the time of day: 22:00 GMT/UTC, open end.

See you at HârnChat.

As many of you will by now know, on 23 July 2008, N Robin Crossby, the creator of Hârn, HârnMaster and the universe of Keléstia, passed on to Yàsháin.

Robin had been suffering from liposarcoma or fat-cell-cancer in his bowel that was discovered in January 2006. He underwent surgery followed by chemotherapy, and was briefly in remission in 2007. Robin is survived by his wife Sharon, his three daughters, his three siblings, his father and many friends all over the world.

I've had this little problem for a while with the Counter-Strike mechanism in HarnMaster. (I've really only had it since my superior PC got whacked by an underskilled Gargun who decided to use the counter-strike manuever, but go figure Smiling )

With Eric, Eric, Eric the ‘Arf a Fish

Last week I acquired a new constant companion. The front end looks like a fish, I’ve never seen the rear end; it could like a horse, a toaster oven, or maybe a fish. It only swims backwards from left to right. I call it Eric… Eric the ‘alf a fish. The part I’ve seen has two mouths, but that’s ok… it doesn’t bite. On the other hand, it does have some odd behaviour. It eats words. If there’s a page of text, it eats the right half, then works its way left to leave only a few letters on each line.

The sixth edition of HârnCon returns to Vancouver BC, Canada this coming August 29-31.

The venue for the weekend is the Marpole Curling Club, which offers a large meeting room as well as a spacious pub, both of which have plenty of tables for gaming.
